Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain all production automation processes and jobs to ensure consistent uptime and performance
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with existing automation scripts, pipelines, and workflows
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, patching, and refactoring of current automation codebases
- Investigate and remediate failures in scheduled automation jobs and integrations
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for automation-related incidents and service requests
- Optimize the performance and reliability of existing automations across the production environment
- Document root cause analyses, resolutions, and runbooks for all production automations
- Collaborate with internal teams, including RPA developers, to support automation-related production issues and facilitate smooth transitions into stable support
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks or instability within current automation environments
- Ensure compliance with operational standards and service level agreements for automation uptime
- Clean up and enhance existing documentation, runbooks, and support processes
- Establish and enforce operational best practices for automation monitoring and governance
- Identify opportunities for performance improvements and risk reduction across the automation ecosystem
- Support knowledge transfer and documentation readiness in preparation for a future offshore support model
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience supporting and operating RPA production environments
- Proficiency with Blue Prism, including bot monitoring, break/fix support, and incident resolution (required)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automation failures and stabilize production systems
- Experience with incident management processes and system stabilization techniques
- Familiarity with RPA monitoring tools such as Control Room, C-Two, or similar platforms
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and bring structure to evolving and ambiguous processes
- Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create and maintain runbooks and operational guides
- Exposure to automation governance frameworks or Center of Excellence models is a plus
- Experience preparing automation environments for offshore transition or scale is a plus
- Python coding experience is a plus
Experience:
- Background in RPA operations, support, or automation lifecycle management
- Proven experience managing and supporting production RPA environments at a senior level
- Prior experience partnering with development teams to transition automations into production support
- Experience working within or supporting a structured operational or governance model
Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in Blue Prism or other RPA platforms are strongly preferred
- Certifications in IT service management frameworks such as ITIL are a plus
