Project Coordinator – Expert
Location: Denver, CO (Remote with occasional onsite meetings preferred)
Duration: 12-month contract (high likelihood of extension or conversion)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator – Expert to support a team of Project Managers across multiple initiatives, including network services, IT lifecycle management, and facility technology upgrades. This role will play a critical part in financial tracking, budgeting, and project coordination as the organization transitions to a new location in Denver’s River North district.

Key Responsibilities
Support multiple Project Managers across IT and infrastructure projects
Manage project financials, including:
Budget tracking and forecasting
Accrual identification and reclassifications
Monthly variance analysis and reporting
Run financial and actuals reports from SAP to support ongoing budget management
Assist with purchasing requests, tracking, and documentation
Coordinate scheduling and maintain organized project documentation
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure financial accuracy and project alignment
Partner with internal teams and occasionally external vendors
What a Typical Day Looks Like
Running financial reports and analyzing budget performance
Supporting PMs with forecasting, accruals, and variance explanations
Coordinating purchasing and tracking project expenses
Maintaining project documentation and schedules
Collaborating with a team of 6 Project Managers and 2 Project Coordinators
Required Qualifications
7 years of experience in project coordination and financial management
Strong background in:
Budgeting and forecasting
Accruals and financial reporting
Large-scale project financials (>$40M budgets preferred)
Experience working in large, matrixed organizations
Proficiency with:
SAP
Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Teams and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting IT or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with network services, VOIP, or firewall upgrades
