This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can balance day-to-day operational responsibilities with strategic planning activities, while leveraging software asset management tools to maintain visibility across the entire software portfolio. Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date license entitlement and contract data within the software asset management platform
• Collaborate with sourcing and legal teams to support maintenance renewal processes and ensure timely contract management
• Assist with license true-up activities, reclamation efforts, and de-scoping initiatives to optimize software investments
• Analyze license usage patterns and data to identify potential cost savings and avoidance opportunities
• Support planning and forecasting activities by developing spend forecasts and providing analytical insights
• Respond to ad hoc operational requests and provide timely support to stakeholders across the organization
• Review and interpret end user license agreements to ensure compliance and proper entitlement tracking
Skills:
• Proficiency with software asset management tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, USU, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of software licensing models and entitlement management principles
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze end user license agreements and contract terms
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities within complex data sets
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings effectively to various audiences
• Power BI experience for data visualization and reporting
Previous Experience:
• 5 to 7 years of relevant operational or analyst experience in software asset management, IT operations, or related field
• Demonstrated experience managing software licenses and entitlements in an enterprise environment
• Proven track record of working with software asset management tools and platforms
