Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join our dynamic team, where you will play a critical role in the development and execution of design projects across a variety of disciplines. In this position, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and models that meet precise customer specifications, working closely with engineering, architectural, and technical services staff to bring complex projects to life. Responsibilities:

- Create, update, and revise sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using CAD software or manual drafting methods to meet customer requirements
- Prepare 2D and 3D models in support of project design objectives
- Read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications
- Complete assignments utilizing information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under the direction of a supervisor
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Prepare documentation to support design drawings
- Prepare bills of material and project schedules
- Assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues

Skills:

- Proficiency in CAD software and manual drafting techniques
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts and terminology
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed technical documents, data sheets, and supplier specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under the direction of a supervisor and within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Qualifications:

- Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications in drafting or CAD technology are a plus
