We are currently partnering with a leading financial institution to support their search for a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead their compliance program. The firm is committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and consumer compliance while fostering a culture of ethical business practices. This is a hybrid role based in NYC.
The CCO will serve as a key strategic partner across the organization, responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the enterprise compliance program. This includes consumer and regulatory compliance, compliance risk management, policy development, regulatory filings, and training programs. The role provides strategic guidance to senior leadership on regulatory developments, ensuring that compliance considerations are embedded into business decisions while supporting sustainable growth.
This position will also lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals, driving initiatives to enhance policies and procedures, implement risk-based monitoring programs, and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency. The CCO will liaise with federal and state regulators, manage regulatory examinations and audits, and oversee comprehensive compliance reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors.
