Overview
A global financial institution is seeking a Technology Audit Lead (VP level) to focus on cybersecurity and IT controls within its Internal Audit function. This role supports audit execution, continuous monitoring, and audit program development across technology risk areas. The position is hands-on, with exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across risk, compliance, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Execute audits covering cybersecurity and technology controls
- Assess design and operating effectiveness of IT controls
- Draft audit findings and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Track and validate remediation of audit issues
- Partner with risk, compliance, and technology teams on control improvements
- Support audit planning and continuous monitoring activities
- Stay current on cybersecurity risks and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- 7 years of IT Audit / Cybersecurity Audit experience
- Background in banking, financial services, or technology environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity domains (e.g., IAM, vulnerability management)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, FFIEC, NYDFS 500
- Experience executing audits end-to-end
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Finance, or related field
Salary : $152,000 - $190,000
