This individual will oversee tax strategy, compliance, and advisory services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and related entities such as family partnerships, trusts, and estates. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and business-development capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance and planning for individuals, trusts, and related entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide strategic guidance on wealth transfer, estate, and gift planning strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, attorneys, and wealth managers, delivering proactive tax and estate solutions.
- Identify opportunities for enhanced client service and tax efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team.
- Cultivate and grow relationships with attorneys, advisors, and referral partners to expand the firm’s private client footprint.
- Stay current on evolving tax law and wealth-management regulations to ensure best-in-class client support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 12 years of progressive experience in high-net-worth individual and trust taxation.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and leading teams in a professional-services environment.
- Expertise in federal, state, estate, and gift tax matters.
- Strong business-development track record with ability to attract and retain clients.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
Salary : $175,000 - $400,000
