A financial services firm is seeking a senior-level Business Systems Analyst to support the buildout of a real-time intraday liquidity platform. This role focuses on analyzing trade, payment, and liquidity workflows across multiple asset classes, shaping data models, and partnering closely with technology and operations teams to deliver scalable, regulatory-ready solutions.
This position plays a key role in modernizing the firm’s liquidity capabilities by enhancing data quality, refining payment and settlement processes, and ensuring the platform supports near real-time decision making.
What You’ll Tackle
• Translate business and liquidity requirements into detailed functional specifications
• Lead data analysis for intraday liquidity workflows, including trade and payment lifecycle events
• Design and validate data models, mappings, transformations, and lineage
• Collaborate with developers and QA throughout design, development, and testing
• Support data onboarding, reconciliation, and end-to-end validation across trade, payment, and liquidity systems
• Review technical deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with business outcomes
• Identify process improvements and cost-effective solutions to enhance platform performance
• Work with stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and performance goals
What You Bring
• 10 years of capital markets experience with strong knowledge of intraday liquidity or related payment workflows
• Deep understanding of trade settlement processes involving SWIFT, Fedwire, and similar protocols
• Strong SQL proficiency, able to write complex queries for analysis and validation
• Experience with data modeling, data lineage, and multi-system data transformations
• Background supporting trade workflows across multiple asset classes
• Ability to document business and functional requirements with clarity and precision
• Experience working across technology, operations, and regulatory-facing teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with intraday liquidity risk platforms or Treasury operations
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
• Exposure to enterprise data platforms or modernization programs
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
