Mackie Myers is partnering with a high-growth and well thought of consumer brand to hire an Accounts Receivable Cash Applications Specialist. This is a critical hire within a fast-paced finance function, supporting high-volume e-commerce operations and ensuring accuracy across cash application and reconciliation processes.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in detail-heavy environments, enjoys problem solving, and has strong systems experience across NetSuite and Shopify.
The Role
You will take ownership of daily cash application and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate matching of high-volume transactions across multiple payment channels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily application of customer payments to invoices within NetSuite
- Reconciliation of bank deposits, credit card settlements, and payment gateways (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, Global E)
- Monitoring the Shopify–NetSuite integration, ensuring orders, invoices, and cash receipts flow accurately
- Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies, including short payments, overpayments, and unapplied cash
- Maintaining accurate customer records and AR data integrity
- Supporting month-end close, including reconciliation of AR subledger, undeposited funds, and deferred revenue
- Producing and maintaining AR aging reports and cash reporting
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience within accounts receivable or cash applications, ideally in a consumer goods or e-commerce environment
- Strong NetSuite experience is essential (customer payments, sales orders, cash sales)
- Hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus
- Familiarity with system integrations (e.g. Celigo) highly preferred
- Strong reconciliation skills across banking, credit cards, and payment processors
- High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working with high-volume transactional data
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
