Working closely with the HR Director and partnering cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Operations, and Corporate Services teams, the Human Resources Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting recruitment initiatives, onboarding programs, employee relations efforts, and day-to-day HR operations that directly impact the employee experience. Responsibilities of the Human Resources Coordinator:
- Maintain and update employee information within the HRIS system, including processing employee status changes and personnel records updates
- Coordinate interview scheduling, assist with job advertisement postings, and manage applicant tracking system activity throughout the recruitment cycle
- Prepare employment documentation and support onboarding coordination to ensure a welcoming and organized new hire experience
- Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks while maintaining accurate HR files and confidential documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely, professional support regarding HR processes and general policies
- Support employment verification procedures, I-9 administration, compliance tracking, and audit preparation activities
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, internal training coordination, and programs that enhance the employee experience
- Partner with internal departments to identify process improvements and support efficient day-to-day HR operations
Qualifications for the Human Resources Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred
- Prior experience in human resources, recruiting support, or administrative coordination strongly preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems, including ADP or comparable systems, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a professional and customer-service-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented and dependable professional with excellent follow-through and problem-solving skills
