HR / Talent Advisory Generalist (Direct Hire | Hybrid NYC)
Position Overview
A global professional services firm is seeking a Talent Advisory Generalist to support core HR operations, employee relations, performance management, time/attendance processes, and HR reporting. This role serves as a key coordination point between employees, managers, HR leadership, and global HR teams, ensuring smooth execution of HR programs and a strong employee experience.
This is a high-visibility, employee-facing HR role with a strong mix of performance management, payroll/timekeeping support, HR compliance, and employee communications.
Compensation & Schedule
- Base Salary: Up to $95,000
- Bonus: Discretionary (eligibility after April 1)
- Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
- Hours: 37.5-hour work week (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM core hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as first-line HR support for employee inquiries, policy questions, and lifecycle support (transfers, promotions, offboarding)
- Manage and support performance management processes including new hire check-ins, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations
- Partner with managers on performance documentation, coaching conversations, and escalation of performance concerns
- Provide support for timekeeping, PTO, overtime, and payroll-related inquiries and processes
- Assist with HR reporting, data tracking, and HRIS updates
- Support employee communications, engagement initiatives, trainings, and HR-led programs
- Coordinate compliance processes including work authorization, I-9 documentation, and visa administration
- Support HR projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives across the team
Ideal Experience / Must Haves
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist or HR Advisory experience
- Strong background in employee relations and performance management
- Experience with timekeeping, payroll support, or HR reporting
- HRIS exposure (Workday, ADP, Kronos, or similar)
- Strong communication and employee-facing support skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
- High attention to detail and comfort handling confidential matters
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
