Responsibilities
- Process donations, including checks, wire transfers, stock gifts, and credit card contributions
- Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Generate donor acknowledgements and financial reports
- Track scholarship allocations and maintain detailed financial records
- Support audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate donor, school, and board databases
- Coordinate board meetings, committee meetings, and program-related events
- Prepare reports using Excel and internal databases
- Collaborate with Finance and other internal departments on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's degree required
- 2 years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, operations, or administrative experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and report formatting
- Experience generating reports and working with databases
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Experience with accounting software preferred
- Nonprofit experience is a plus but not required
