We are seeking two Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) to join a dynamic nonprofit organization in Philadelphia. This is an onsite, hands-on HR role supporting a large-scale project. This is a great opportunity to take ownership, make an impact, and contribute to meaningful HR initiatives.
As an HRBP, you will provide consultative HR operations support, serve as a liaison between affiliates and HR leadership, and help ensure policies, processes, and compliance standards are met.
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19144 (onsite)
Salary: $33.00 to $36.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: Contract through July (possibility for extension)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and administer performance evaluations for assigned affiliates.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and assist with minor employee relations matters; escalate as needed.
- Maintain HR compliance for audits and licensing visits.
- Manage job description distribution and signature collection.
- Process personnel changes, suspensions, transfers, and post-employment activities.
- Act as first point of contact for workers’ compensation occurrences.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on open position reports and new hire processes.
- Facilitate new hire affiliate welcome meetings.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 3–5 years of HR experience (required).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR Management or related field (preferred).
- SHRM or HRCI certification (preferred).
- Nonprofit HR experience (preferred).
