Job Title: Mechanical Stamping Press Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Warren, MI
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), some overtime expected
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Stamping Press Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity on the 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience on stamping presses, production feed lines, and electrical troubleshooting without relying on prints. PLC knowledge is a significant plus. The position requires someone who can work independently, assist in training other maintenance technicians, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical stamping presses and associated production equipment.

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues without prints using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Maintain and troubleshoot feed lines to ensure smooth production flow.

Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Support and train other maintenance technicians as needed.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other plant safety protocols.
Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with mechanical stamping presses and feed line operations.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems without prints.

PLC knowledge is highly desirable.

Experience mentoring or training other maintenance technicians preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and procedures.
