Pay: From $18/hr – Temporary, Full-Time

Location: Detroit

We are seeking a motivated team player to join our operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in parts handling and delivery, with opportunities for growth for a dependable and adaptable individual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate large vans, box trucks, and hi-lo equipment to transport parts between vendors, assembly plants, and our facility.

• Pick up and deliver automotive parts promptly, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts area.

• Assist with crib attendant duties including stocking, inventory control, and order preparation.

• Communicate effectively with vendors, assembly plant staff, and internal teams.

• Take direction and work through challenges independently, asking the right questions when needed.

• Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations.

• Take advantage of overtime opportunities to increase earnings as business needs arise.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (must be insurable).

• Experience operating large vans, box trucks, and forklifts/hi-lo equipment.

• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage tasks independently.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks or processes.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules, including overtime.

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in warehouse/industrial settings.

Schedule & Employment Type:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, with additional overtime opportunities.

• Temporary to start with potential for permanent hire based on performance.

• Minimum 40 hours per week.
