Safety Manager

Safety Manager – Heavy Highway / Bridge Construction – Philadelphia Suburbs

We’re looking for a hands-on Safety Manager with strong experience in heavy highway and bridge construction projects to join a growing contractor in the Philadelphia suburbs. This is a high-impact role focused on driving safety culture across complex infrastructure projects.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and enforce safety programs across active bridge/highway job sites
• Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
• Manage incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
• Train field personnel and promote a proactive safety-first culture
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams on safety planning
  
  

What you need:

• 5 years of safety experience in heavy civil, highway, or bridge construction
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite compliance
• Experience working on DOT/public infrastructure projects
• OSHA 30 (OSHA 500/510 a plus)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
