We are looking for an experienced person to review, manage, and fight violations our company receives.

This person will be responsible for reviewing each violation, checking the details, gathering proof, disputing the violation when possible, and following up until the violation is corrected, dismissed, reduced, or resolved.

We need someone who has done this type of work before and knows how to handle violations carefully and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Review every violation the company receives.
  • Check if the violation is accurate or if it can be disputed.
  • Gather documents, photos, records, permits, proof of repairs, or other evidence.
  • Prepare dispute letters, appeals, responses, or supporting documents.
  • Submit disputes or appeals to the proper city, agency, court, department, or portal.
  • Follow up on open violations until they are resolved.
  • Track deadlines, hearing dates, due dates, and response dates.
  • Keep clear notes and organized records for each violation.
  • Communicate with the team about what is needed to fight or resolve each violation.
  • Work to get violations dismissed, reduced, corrected, or closed whenever possible.

Requirements

  • Previous experience handling, disputing, or appealing violations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Good computer and spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and track many violations at once.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience gathering proof and preparing responses.
  • Must be reliable, accurate, and able to work independently.

Preferred Experience

Experience with property violations, code violations, municipal violations, building violations, sanitation violations, inspections, citations, permits, or compliance issues is strongly preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has fought violations before and knows how to review the facts, find mistakes, gather evidence, and push back when a violation is wrong or can be reduced.

We need someone who can take ownership of the violation process from start to finish.

Pay

Pay will depend on experience.
