The Opportunity
As a key member of the Construction Defect Litigation team, you'll manage complex litigation matters involving developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, insurers, and other construction industry clients.
You'll have the opportunity to develop litigation strategy, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with an experienced team of attorneys dedicated to delivering exceptional results.
What You'll Do
- Manage construction defect litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal counsel to clients.
- Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Work closely with expert witnesses, consultants, clients, and opposing counsel.
- Collaborate with an experienced litigation team while maintaining ownership of your caseload.
- Deliver outstanding client service and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
- Participate in a culture that values professionalism, teamwork, mentorship, and community involvement.
Required
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.
- 3–5 years of substantive Construction Defect Litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters while working effectively within a team.
- Experience using ProLaw case management software.
