LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with our Fortune 100, publicly traded client that is looking for highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant and Senior Accountant with a background in public accounting to join their team.
This is a highly visible role that will require you to visit the office three days per week in New Castle County, Delaware.
You must have public accounting experience and your CPA, or on CPA track, to be considered for this role. Experience with the SEC Rules and Regulations and quarterly and annual filings is also needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in month end close process
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions
- Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting
- Assisting with SOX compliance
- Assisting with FASB and GAAP implementation of changes
- Assisting with SEC filings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA preferred
- 2 years of experience
- MUST come from public accounting
- MUST have CPA or be on CPA track
- SEC experience preferred
- High degree of professionalism and respect for team
- Comfortable onsite one day per week in Philadelphia
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other technologies
Compensation
$75,000- $105,000
- Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan
- PTO is offered on an accrual basis
- Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law
