What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at LHH?
Sr. Accountant opportunity with Manufacturing in the greater Portland metro area. This is a newly added position to support organizational change and significant process updates. This is a great opportunity for a General Ledger accountant who would like to continue to grow within a strong mentorship environment. As the ideal candidate for this role, you’ll have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, strong MS Excel skills, and at least 3 years of General Ledger specific experience. Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
This team is specifically seeking out individuals who are growth and process improvement minded. Culture and communication are key – looking for someone who will tackle challenges head on and be engaged in process improvement initiatives.
Location: Fully on-site in Wilsonville area, future flexibility for 1 day WFH/week
Compensation: $85,000-100,000 bonus
Very low-cost MDV premiums for individuals, spouses and families.

Your Job Responsibilities:
- General Ledger focused role, including periodic and month/ end Journal Entries including accruals and adjustments
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations, review and variance analysis
- Complex fixed assets management
- Also will support Inventory analysis, tax reporting, and revenue recognition as needed
- Significant project work and supporting process improvement initiatives
What you bring to the team:
- 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience required, open to a mix of public accounting and corporate accounting experience if strength in G/L
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related is required
- A continuous improvement mindset with motivation to take action to streamline processes and contribute to overall process improvement initiatives
- MS Excel Proficiency required including Pivots, Lookups, and complex formulas
- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred
