Embedded Systems Engineer III
Richfield, WI (100% On-Site) | $115,000-$135,000 Base Salary

Embedded Systems Engineer III to play a key role in designing and delivering next-generation embedded systems.
This is a highly visible opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, architecture ownership, mentoring team members, and influencing product direction.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of embedded software and system-level functionality.
- Drive architecture decisions and long-term technical strategy across multiple product platforms.
- Debug complex hardware, firmware, and integration issues.
- Support hardware bring-up, validation, testing, and optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, quality, manufacturing, and product management.
- Establish and promote coding standards, development processes, and documentation best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical leadership and coaching.
- Participate in customer-facing technical discussions, troubleshooting, and requirements gathering.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that align with business objectives.
- Contribute to project planning, technical risk assessments, and successful product delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6 years of embedded systems development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in C/C .
- Strong experience with RTOS environments and embedded device drivers.
- Expertise with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Experience with hardware bring-up, board-level debugging, and system testing.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
