Senior Accountant Position in Janesville Area
A growing healthcare company in the Janesville area is looking for a new Senior Accountant to join the team. The organization is growing quite a bit organically and opening up quite a few new locations, so it is an exciting time to get in there. With the growth, this position will see quick growth up the ladder as well!
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close by completing assigned tasks and preparing supporting schedules.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and providing variance analysis for management review.
- Maintain accuracy in assigned accounting areas such as AP/AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, cash
- Prepare audit documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and established accounting policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve accounting issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Healthcare experience required
- 2 years of accounting/finance experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
