As a Senior Accountant, this person will play a key role in managing financial operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead and manage the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models that support strategic planning.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and industry standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, systems, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance finance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 2-5 years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Proficiency in technical accounting and the ability to apply complex accounting standards.
