What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant | Growth to Controller position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions’ (pka Parker Lynch) is working with an industrial services company looking for a Senior Accountant to grow to Controller level. This role will report to the current Controller, who is being promoted. The ideal candidate has a CPA and comes from public accounting.
Duties:
- Journal Entries
- Financial Reporting
- Cash Projections
- Month/Year End
- Variance Analysis
- % Completion Accounting
- Forecasting
- Ensure GAAP Compliance
- Internal Controls
- Reconciliations
- Assist with external audit requests
- Communicate data with other divisions and departments
- Financial Statements
Requirements:
- 3 years’ progressive accounting experience, ideally within public accounting
- Bachelors in Accounting
- CPA Required
