Retail Development and Sales Manager
Location: Bedford Park
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
Bonus/Variable Compensation: Eligible for a variable compensation plan; bonus eligibility and amount are based on company and/or individual performance.

As the Retail Development and Sales Manager, you will lead the expansion of the brand’s retail presence. You will build strong partnerships, manage brokers, secure new placements, and execute strategies that fuel sustainable growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, balances hustle with strategic discipline, and acts as a true steward of the business. You’ll report directly to a senior leader and collaborate with marketing, operations, and growth teams to translate strong DTC performance into retail success.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead account management and broker partnerships to expand distribution and achieve growth targets.
- Develop channel-specific sales and promotional strategies aligned with brand and margin goals.
- Build persuasive sales presentations, new item forms, and annual planning materials for retail buyers.
- Track and analyze sales performance, velocity, and competitive trends to optimize strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and growth teams to ensure retail success.
- Work closely with operations and finance to manage inventory, ensure on-time and in-full shipments, and maintain healthy inventory levels.
- Manage trade budgets, negotiate retailer terms, and secure favorable promotional structures.
- Represent the brand at customer meetings, category reviews, and industry events.
Required Skills
- 5 years of direct sales management experience, preferably within CPG or food & beverage at an emerging growth company.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per year.
This role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan. Bonus eligibility and amount are based on company and/or individual performance.
Actual compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
