Property Coordinator
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite (Monday–Friday)
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 (depending on experience)
About the Opportunity
A growing commercial real estate firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial properties. This role is ideal for a professional with commercial real estate experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys serving as a key liaison between tenants, vendors, and property management teams.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Yardi, strong administrative and financial coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Property Managers and Operations teams across a commercial real estate portfolio.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and visitors.
- Process and code invoices in Yardi, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for approval.
- Maintain lease files, contracts, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and other property-related documentation.
- Monitor tenant and vendor compliance requirements and track insurance expirations.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and work order follow-up.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, tenant notices, and property-related documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, accounts payable processes, and reconciliation support.
- Maintain accurate property records and databases.
- Support special projects and assist with day-to-day office and property operations as needed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in commercial real estate, property management, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Yardi is required.
- Knowledge of commercial property management processes, terminology, and documentation.
- Experience processing invoices and supporting property accounting functions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Familiarity with building maintenance coordination and vendor management.
- Experience supporting multiple properties within a commercial portfolio
