Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager (Construction – Mechanical)
Location: Lima, OH
We are partnering with a top-tier mechanical contractor (part of a large, well-established national organization) to support multiple Project Manager and Senior Project Manager hires due to continued growth and project demand.
This organization delivers complex mechanical construction projects across a diverse portfolio including data centers, healthcare, industrial facilities, and large commercial builds.
Position Overview
The Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for owning projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong field engagement and collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through closeout
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and overall project execution
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to drive project success
- Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Support and lead project teams while maintaining strong stakeholder communication
Qualifications
- 3–10 years of project management experience within construction
- Experience in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing systems preferred (open to strong general construction backgrounds)
- Proven ability to manage projects through the full lifecycle
- Experience with commercial or industrial projects (data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- OSHA knowledge/experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $100K – $180K (dependent on experience and level)
- Annual discretionary bonus (typically $10K and growing year-over-year)
- Auto allowance / variable pay
- Relocation assistance OR per diem support available for non-local candidates
