LHH is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist with strong, hands-on expertise in managing full-cycle, stand-alone payroll for a large employee population. The ideal candidate is accurate, reliable, and demonstrates career longevity, thriving in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle payroll for 500 employees independently
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations across multiple states
- Maintain payroll records, audit data, and reconcile discrepancies
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing, reporting, and data management
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports using Excel
- Partner with internal teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries promptly
- Support year-end activities, including W-2 processing
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll matters
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4 years of stand-alone payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience required
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Proven ability to process payroll for 500 employees
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
