Payroll Auditor – Contract (1 Month)
Location: Riverside, CA
Pay: $24–$28/hour, based on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a short-term Payroll Auditor to support our payroll team by reviewing and verifying timesheet accuracy. This role will focus on ensuring past and current timesheets are entered correctly, confirming hours worked, and validating that employee paychecks are issued accurately. The auditor will also assist employees with payroll-related questions and provide clear, timely support.
Responsibilities:
- Review past and current timesheets for accuracy and completeness
- Verify that hours worked are entered correctly in the payroll system
- Ensure paychecks are processed and issued accurately
- Identify and correct payroll discrepancies
- Respond to employee questions regarding timesheets, pay, or payroll issues
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience with payroll processing or auditing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and customer service skills
