Our client is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper for a contract position in Chicago, IL. Candidates should have at least one year of bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience.
Details:
- Role: Parttime Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process business documents
- Summarize current financial status
- Assist with month-end close
- Prepare financial and operational variance analysis for management
- Reconcile financial discrepancies
- Post and reconcile daily cash activities
- Post journal entries to the general ledger
- Maintain and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
- Complete wire transfers
- Ensure all receivables and payables are accurately tracked
- Serve as backup to Senior Accountants
Requirements:
- At least one year of Bookkeeping experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- QuickBooks experience required
- Ability to work three full days per week
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and detail-oriented
