Position: Litigation Secretary
Location: Downtown Riverside, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Secretary to join our team in our Downtown Riverside office. This is a full-time, fully onsite position supporting attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to litigation attorneys
- Prepare, format, and file legal documents (state and federal)
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and court filings
- Coordinate correspondence with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
- Maintain case files and organize legal documents
- Assist with trial preparation and discovery materials
- Handle general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a litigation secretary or legal assistant preferred
- Knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document formatting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
