Litigation Paralegal
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Salary: $100,000 to $110,000 per year, along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k
Job Type: Direct Hire, Hybrid, Full-Time
LHH is working with a prestigious law firm in Irvine in seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal with a focus on complex civil litigation defense to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in complex civil litigation (defense civil litigation) and must possess an ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
Responsibilities:
- Pull trial and calendaring dates and understand who answered to the case.
- Conduct document review and analysis.
- Determine where the case was filed, served, and manage custody of records.
- Assist with depositions and other litigation support tasks.
- Familiarity with docket pleadings in mass torts and toxic torts.
- Pull out the latest complaints and other relevant documents.
- Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in complex civil litigation (defense civil litigation).
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in legal research and document management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
