Title: Senior Accountant
Salary: $100,000-$115,000 base salary 15% annual bonus

Location: Hybrid – Salt Lake City
Hours/Schedule:
Full-time position. Typical weeks average 45-50 hours, with additional hours during month-end and quarterly close periods.
Team Description:
This role reports into Corporate Finance and joins a lean, highly collaborative accounting team. The position partners closely with finance, operations, and project stakeholders while supporting a portfolio of large-scale infrastructure assets.
This job in a nutshell:
- Own full-cycle accounting for several operational projects
- Review contracts, invoices, and project expenditures to ensure accurate accounting treatment
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables
- Support accounts payable review and ensure costs are recorded in the proper period
- Analyze project-level financial results and contribute to management reporting packages
- Partner with operations and finance teams to improve visibility into project performance
- Assist with process improvement initiatives, close acceleration efforts, and scalability projects
- Take ownership of project financial reporting as responsibilities expand
We are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Experience supporting projects, construction, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or other operational environments preferred
- ERP experience preferred
- CPA or public accounting experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage deadlines independently
- Proven ability to build relationships across departments and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
