LHH is seeking an Litigation Paralegal in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of litigation experience and a strong understanding of case management, discovery, court filings, and trial preparation. Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through trial and resolution.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and track deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
- Prepare and organize exhibits, trial binders, witness files, and other trial materials.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy.
- Manage document production, discovery responses, and case files.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and third-party vendors.
- Maintain accurate case calendars and ensure compliance with court rules and filing deadlines.
Qualifications
- 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
- Experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
