Responsibilities
- Own financial reporting: Produce accurate financial statements and management reports covering results, cash flow, spend, and tax activity.
- Lead planning & budgets: Build, manage, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts to align with company goals.
- Direct core accounting operations: Oversee AR, AP, payroll, cost, property, and general accounting to ensure timely, compliant close.
- Ensure compliance & controls: Maintain GAAP adherence, coordinate internal/external audits, and uphold strong policies and internal controls.
- Drive analysis & insights: Compile data, model scenarios, and deliver forecasts and cash projections that inform executive decisions.
- Optimize systems & processes: Design and standardize accounting procedures and tools to reduce costs, improve accuracy, and speed workflows.
- Guide risk & regulatory matters: Advise on insurance coverage, operational changes tied to tax/regulatory updates, and required regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Cost accounting/inventory experience is a plus (not required)
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
