Litigation Legal Assistant / Executive Legal Secretary
Jacksonville, FL (Riverside / Avondale - 32202)
Fully Onsite | $55,000 to $65,000 DOE
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant / Executive Legal Secretary for a respected regional law firm in Jacksonville, FL. This is a fully onsite, high-volume role for a tech-savvy, proactive legal assistant who can work independently while collaborating with a team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
- Prepare, draft, edit, format, and proof legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and routine motions
- Handle Florida state and federal e-filing (including portals and CM/ECF/PACER as applicable)
- Assist with docketing, service lists, notices, and confirmations
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
- Support hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation as needed
- Enter, review, and edit attorney time for accuracy
- Process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements
- Coordinate travel, meetings, and general administrative support
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of recent, tenured U.S. law firm experience in construction litigation, creditors' rights, bankruptcy, and/or government relations
- Strong Word/PDF formatting skills and meticulous attention to detail
