Leave of Absence Specialist
Remote (U.S.) $70,000 - $85,000 Bonus
Our client, a growing environmental services organization, is seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist to oversee employee leave programs, accommodations, and workers' compensation administration across a multi-state workforce.
Responsibilities
• Manage FMLA, state leave programs, disability leaves, and other employee leave requests.
• Coordinate ADA accommodations and support the interactive process.
• Administer workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
• Partner with employees, managers, and third-party administrators to resolve leave-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records, status changes, and case documentation.
• Generate reporting and analyze leave and workers' compensation trends.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while delivering excellent employee support.
Qualifications
• 3 years of dedicated leave administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and multi-state leave regulations.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple states, including complex leave jurisdictions.
• Background managing leave and workers' compensation vendors.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience with ADP Lyric preferred; UKG or other ADP platforms also considered.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
