LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company located in Horsham, PA. We are seeking an experienced Interim Controller to join our manufacturing organization for a 6-month contract. This role is highly transactional and requires a hands-on professional with strong accounting expertise and the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain compliance, and support process improvements during this interim period.
Job Title: Interim Controller (Transactional Focus)
Location: Horsham, PA
Schedule: Fully Onsite, Monday–Friday
Contract Length: 6 Months
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $55-$62/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
- Supervise and review transactional accounting activities to maintain compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, internal reports, and management summaries.
- Support cost accounting and inventory reconciliations specific to manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors during the engagement period.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including controller-level responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting practices, including cost accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (experience with [insert software name if known]).
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
