LHH is seeking an experienced and highly professional HR Generalist to join our client's team. This role is integral to ensuring compliance, supporting employees, and driving HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of HR best practices, payroll administration, and DOT compliance, while managing a broad range of HR functions with discretion and accuracy.
This position is 100% onsite in the Fort Worth area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration: Process and review payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- DOT Compliance: Maintain Department of Transportation compliance records and reporting requirements.
- Recruitment & Staffing: Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Deliver a structured onboarding experience and ensure all documentation and training requirements are met.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Investigations: Conduct thorough and confidential investigations into employee issues and policy violations.
- Leave Management: Administer FMLA and other leave programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Policy Administration: Interpret and enforce HR policies and procedures; assist in policy development and updates.
- Benefits Coordination: Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for audits and regulatory requirements as well as knowledge of state and federal law regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience with exposure to payroll and compliance.
- Knowledge of DOT compliance and regulations required
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
