LHH is working with a growing manufacturing organization with a strong reputation for collaboration, trust, and a true family feel. They are looking for a Site HR Manager to join their team in Westminster, SC.
This role is open due to a planned retirement, with built-in overlap to ensure a smooth transition and strong onboarding. Reporting directly to the VP of Global HR, with a dotted-line relationship to the Plant General Manager, the Site HR Manager serves as a trusted business partner to plant leadership. This role owns both the strategic and tactical HR agenda for the site and plays a key role in supporting plant growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Talent Management
- Lead full-cycle talent strategies including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, career development, and workforce planning
- Partner with leaders on succession planning and leadership development
- Coach managers and supervisors on employee development, performance feedback, and engagement
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance on policy interpretation and application
- Monitor trends and proactively partner with leadership to improve morale, retention, and productivity
- Maintain working knowledge of employment law to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Partner with corporate HR to administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, voluntary benefits)
- Oversee leave of absence, accommodations, and workers’ compensation programs
- Participate in safety committee meetings and support site safety initiatives
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Maintain DOT and non-DOT Driver Qualification Files
- Support ISO audits and Quality Management Reviews
- Track and ensure completion of required training and certifications
What We’re Looking For
- 6 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong HR Generalist background with depth in talent management, employee relations, and benefits
- People management experience (minimum 3 years)
- Strategic mindset with the ability to support and guide plant growth
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred (or willingness to obtain within one year)

Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
