HR Assistant/Data Entry
We’re looking for an HR Assistant to support HR and Compliance operations for a leading national services organization. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow your HR skill set, this role offers hands-on experience and the chance to contribute meaningfully while key team members are on leave. Ideal for recent grads or early-career professionals.
What You’ll Do:
- Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets tracking training and compliance
- Support field training teams with onboarding and training coordination
- Organize documentation and logistics for customer trainings
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks to keep HR and Compliance workflows moving
- Respond to internal inquiries promptly and professionally via Outlook
- Prepare, file, and manage HR documentation
- Provide general office coordination during staff absences
- Attend occasional onsite meetings after the initial training period
What You Bring:
- 2 years of administrative experience (HR or compliance preferred)
- Basic Excel proficiency (no advanced formulas required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using Outlook and common office tools
- Fast learner who can work independently after training
- Based in Houston for 1–2 weeks of onsite training and periodic in-person meetings
- Availability for 9 AM–3 PM core hours, with flexibility to reach 40 hours/week
📍 Location: Houston, TX 77038 (Hybrid: Onsite training with remote flexibility)
💵 Pay: $20 – $25/hour.
