Receptionist
LHH is looking for a receptionist for a client in northern Cincinnati. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, donors, clients, and staff. This role supports daily office operations by providing professional front-desk coverage, administrative assistance, and a welcoming environment that reflects the organization’s mission and values. This position is a 2–3-month temp assignment that has potential to go permanent. The pay for this role will range between $17 and $19/hr.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, donors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails.
- Manage front desk operations, including mail distribution, package handling, and visitor logs.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms as needed.
- Provide general administrative support such as data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation.
- Assist with basic reporting, recordkeeping, and database updates.
- Support staff with clerical tasks and special projects.
- Maintain lobby and reception areas to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming appearance.
- Follow confidentiality policies when handling sensitive or donor-related information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Interest in or alignment with the mission-driven work of a nonprofit organization
