What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Finance position at LHH?
Interim Director of Finance
Hybrid in Oakland
Key job duties:
- Firmwide budget preparation, budget by program and location
- Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Financial Statement Reports
- Prepares cost allocation methodology, and oversees implementation and documentation, including negotiating indirect cost rate, Firmwide funder fiscal applications and reporting
- Reviewing and Approving Journal Entries, final payroll, Reconciliations, invoices
- Leads on Audits and Tax preparation
- Lead oversight and engagement with external auditors, including - Annual Financial Statements and A-133 single audit, schedule of Federal awards, schedule of state awards
- Oversee tax preparation for local taxes and work with external tax preparers for 990 and State Returns
- Board engagement: including preparing financial reports monthly and quarterly, presenting to the Finance Committee, Audit Committee, and full Board; fielding questions at meetings and from individuals; responding to ad-hoc requests
- Preferred experience with MIP accounting software and Paycom (HRIS-payroll system)

Salary : $85 - $100
