Demand Planner – Hybrid

Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 base discretionary bonus
Position Overview
A distribution organization is seeking a Demand Planner to support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and cross‑functional supply chain activities across multiple locations. This role is hybrid and based in LaGrange, IL.
Responsibilities
- Manage demand forecasts for a broad SKU portfolio across multiple product categories
- Support inventory planning and positioning across several distribution facilities
- Analyze forecast variances and inventory exceptions, identifying trends and key drivers
- Perform data analysis to improve forecast quality and planning accuracy
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to align demand plans with execution
- Utilize ERP systems and analytical tools to support reporting, visibility, and decision‑making
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analysis, or a related analytical role
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
- Experience working with ERP or analytics platforms such as Dynamics, SAP, Blue Yonder, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively
