Job Title: Compensation Analyst (Temporary)
Location: Onsite – San Jose, CA (5 days per week, Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm)
Duration: December 2025 – June 2026
Pay Rate: $50-55/hour
We are seeking a temporary Compensation Analyst to provide operational support for Compensation and Equity programs through Q2 2026. This role is critical for ensuring smooth execution of annual compensation cycles, Workday HRIS migration, and equity program administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with compensation processes and HR systems, demonstrate stability in prior roles, and require minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in rebuilding and configuring Workday structure.
- Gather requirements, perform functional testing, and support deployment.
- Execute merit review and bonus programs.
- Manage compensation plan logistics during peak season.
- Research and track 2026 equity commitments.
- Support development of equity budgets within Adaptive.
- Administer December 2025–May 2026 equity grants and SOX compliance.
- Oversee vesting and refresh grants (March and May 2026).
- Support deployment of new job families/profiles in Workday.
- Respond to ad hoc inquiries on market pricing, salary surveys, and payout processes.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in compensation cycles and HR applications within one organization.
- Strong understanding of compensation concepts (annual focal, market pricing, salary surveys).
- Familiarity with Workday HRIS configuration and testing.
- Ability to balance competitive pay practices with talent acquisition needs.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal hand-holding.
