What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Real Estate Analyst position at LHH?
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in lender-side commercial real estate finance transactions
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports
- Prepare detailed title/survey review letters to obtain proforma loan policies and survey approvals
- Collaborate with surveyors, title companies, zoning consultants, and other third-party vendors
- Assist in due diligence processes and maintain critical closing documentation
- Coordinate with closing attorneys to ensure all lender requirements are satisfied
- Manage transaction timelines, documentation tracking, and issue resolution
- Adapt to various deal structures and client needs in a fast-paced environment
Key Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in commercial real estate (paralegal or analyst capacity)
- Deep knowledge of lender-side transaction support (title, survey, zoning)
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects with attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, responsive, and confident working directly with attorneys and clients
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
- Prior experience in an Am Law or mid-size law firm strongly preferred
