Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remodeling Professional to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential and commercial remodeling projects, with a strong background in various construction disciplines. This role involves executing renovation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Remodeling Professional will collaborate with project managers, clients, and other trades to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of remodeling tasks including framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile laying, and cabinetry.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards and compliance with building codes.
- Manage demolition, restoration, and fabrication activities as needed for project completion.
- Install doors, windows, stucco, roofing components, glass, and other fixtures with precision.
- Execute specialized tasks such as concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, caulking, and heavy equipment operation.
- Collaborate with construction management on estimating costs and managing schedules for remodeling projects.
- Ensure work sites are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or remodeling projects with a focus on residential or commercial properties.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, welding, and concrete finishing.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and site inspection procedures.
- Prior experience working on diverse construction sites demonstrating adaptability across multiple trades is a plus.
