What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at LHH?
LHH has partnered with a growing entertainment company on this possible temp to hire Billing Specialist position. This role is responsible for creating complex billing invoices, applying incoming payments and following up on outstanding receivables. Offices are conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan and candidates can expect to work up to 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. Qualified candidates should apply if they have managed the below tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on project milestones, time tracking, and contractual terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client inquiries promptly.
- Assist with cash applications on incoming payments as needed.
- Support audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven accounts receivable experience.
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Compensation: $30 - $35/hr, depending on experience.
