Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design, development, and validation of battery systems, collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
- Develop and execute robust test plans for cells, packs, and integrated products, ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.
- Analyze complex test data, generate actionable reports, and recommend improvements to enhance product performance and safety.
- Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring all system requirements are met.
- Lead root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for product and process improvements.
- Stay current with the latest trends in battery technology, regulatory compliance, and market innovations.
- Drive multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and delivering on aggressive timelines.
- Provide technical guidance on material selection, thermal management, and system integration.
- Maintain and improve engineering documentation to support quality manufacturing and product integration.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in battery systems engineering, with a strong focus on lithium-ion technology.
- Deep understanding of battery management systems, charging strategies, and regulatory standards.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, solve technical challenges, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with suppliers and leading technical discussions independently.
Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000
