A regional law firm is seeking a Corporate/M&A Associate to join its growing Corporate practice in its Pittsburgh office. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, and general corporate/commercial work, who is ready to take on meaningful client responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active law license in good standing.
- 3 years of experience in M&A, corporate, or commercial transactional practice.
- Preferably with mergers & acquisitions (asset and stock deals), transaction documentation, ancillary agreements, due diligence, negotiation of definitive agreements, and general corporate and commercial advisory work.
- Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with substantial partner and client interaction.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Annual bonus opportunities beginning at the 1,800 billable hour level.
